Simply Giving Official Launch for 2011

Simply Giving has officially launched for 2011.

This year we welcome two new charities to the site - United Way Australia and Uniting Care Wesley.

We also have a record number of corporations participating in Simply Giving this year. Over 50 Australian companies are using Simply Giving to conduct their internal toy drives. ABC, Vodafone, AGL and Tiffany are examples of some of the new corporates in 2011.

We have also upgraded the website this year. The most notable change is the addition of progress trackers on our sites. This was implemented as a motivational tool to be used by charities and corporations to set donation goals for their members and employees to achieve. So far they have been a hit and have been very well received.

We are hopeful of a successful season and an increase on donations from last year. Ultimately helping even more needy children in our communities.
